ABOUT US
_edited.jpg)
No Fixed Gallery is a 100% Aboriginal and female-owned family business by Arrernte artists and sisters, Amunda, Grace and Myra Gorey, based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs NT).
We are passionate about art—not just making it, but living it. For us, art is about storytelling, connection, and keeping culture strong. No Fixed Gallery is our way of celebrating who we are, where we come from, and sharing that with others. It’s a space where we uplift and support the next generation of creatives in our community.

Our story
We grew up in the remote community of Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa), about an hour southeast of Mparntwe. Before accessible and fun technology, art was a way to express ourselves and keep ourselves entertained. In all its forms, art had always been encouraged by our family and community, and has remained central to our lives. Now living in Mparntwe, we carry on this tradition at No Fixed Gallery by creating a safe and encouraging space for our young ones to come and paint with us. It is where we come together to create, share, and celebrate the beauty of our culture through art.

Our Mission: connection, conversation and understanding

We believe that art is more than something to look at—it’s something to connect with. Through our work and workshops, we’re creating a space for cultural exchange, understanding, and celebration. Whether you’re buying a piece or painting with us, you’re becoming part of that story.
At No Fixed Gallery, every piece is created ethically and independently, with profits going directly back into supporting our family business and building pathways for young artists in our community. This isn’t just about selling art—it’s about keeping our culture strong, our voices heard, and our young people inspired.
