Amunda Gorey

Amunda holds over 20 years of artistic experience in her creations. Her vibrant paintings are often centred around intergenerational learning on Country, childhood memories growing up in Central Australia and celebrates stories of women. Another significant theme in her art is flora, encompassing wildflowers, bush medicines, and wild fruits and berries. Alongside her own artwork, Amunda also teaches her daughters and other family members the art of demonstrating how both traditional and contemporary stories can be expressed through their artworks.

Grace Gorey

Grace finds her inspiration in the breathtaking landscapes of Central Australia. Through her art, she often captures the essence of these surroundings while also retelling cherished childhood stories.

Myra Gorey

Myra often explores traditional and natural color palettes in her artwork, frequently depicting families on Country, as well as capturing the beauty of the Central Australian night sky and desert wildflowers.

Amarlie, the oldest daughter of Amunda, started painting when she was 11 years old and has carried on this tradition of storytelling. She especially enjoys painting about the beautiful flora of Central Australia.

Ashaan, second daughter of Amunda, started painting in 2021 and has really taken off with her own style and becoming more confident to try new techniques. She commonly paints about Central Australian flora.

Kaylah, niece of Amunda, Grace, and Myra, has been painting since 2022 and has demonstrated a natural talent. She frequently focuses her artwork on the flora and fauna of Central Australia.
