Amunda Gorey

Tribe/language group: Arrernte Place: Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa), Mparntwe (Alice Springs) NT. Amunda holds over 20 years of artistic experience in her creations. Her vibrant paintings are often centred around intergenerational learning on Country, childhood memories growing up in Central Australia and celebrates stories of women. Another significant theme in her art is flora, encompassing wildflowers, bush medicines, and wild fruits and berries. Alongside her own artwork, Amunda also teaches her daughters and other family members.
